A one-time livery stable/carriage barn that dates to the mid-19th century. "Having just completed my own loft conversion, I could see the potential," Boston architect Stephen Magliocco says.

 

The design includes a dramatic rotunda, an atrium that allows light to pour from the roof, a 12 foot addition to the 1st floor, a skylit solarium that steps down to a bank of french doors leading to the garden courtyard.
